There are several types of electric wood panels:
Bakelite boards by material
-Paper veneers: made by immersing bleached wood pulp paper in phenolic resin, baking and hot pressing, it is the most common laminated board with good mechanical strength and intermediate electrical insulation, suitable for use as insulation structural components in motors and electrical equipment with high mechanical performance requirements
-Fabric electric wood board: made of cotton fabric as the base material, soaked in phenolic resin and then hot pressed. Its mechanical strength is higher than that of paper plywood, with better wear resistance and toughness, making it suitable for applications that require higher mechanical performance, such as mechanical molds, fixtures, etc.
-Fiberglass electric board: Made by using fiberglass cloth as a reinforcing material and combining it with phenolic resin. It has high mechanical strength, heat resistance, and electrical insulation performance, and is commonly used in electronic and electrical products that require high insulation and mechanical strength, such as transformers, insulation brackets, etc
Bakelite boards by performance
-Ordinary electric wood panel: It has general insulation properties, mechanical strength, and heat resistance, and can meet the basic insulation requirements of ordinary electronic and electrical products, such as the shell and insulation gasket of some small electrical appliances.
-Anti static electric board: made by adding anti-static agents and other fillers to phenolic resin, with low surface resistance, it can effectively prevent the generation and accumulation of static electricity. It is suitable for the production and use of electronic components that are sensitive to static electricity, such as workbenches in electronic chip manufacturing workshops and casings of electronic instruments
-High insulation electric wood board: Through special production processes and material formulas, it has higher insulation resistance and electrical strength, and can be used in electrical equipment with extremely high insulation performance requirements, such as high-voltage switches, high-frequency transformers, etc
Bakelite by color
-Orange red electric wood board: It is relatively common, brightly colored, and has good visual recognition. It is commonly used in some electrical components that need to be distinguished and labeled, such as different circuit connection parts in distribution boxes
-Black electric wood panel: It has good dirt resistance and stability, and has a stable appearance. It is often used in some electrical equipment that does not require high appearance but emphasizes performance, such as insulation parts of motors and clamping plates of mechanical molds
