PEEK materials in the robotics and electronics industries

The applications of PEEK material in the robotics and electronics industries are as follows:
Robot industry
-Structural components: Due to its low density and high strength, PEEK can be used to manufacture structural components such as robot skeletons. While reducing weight, it can ensure the robot’s load capacity and structural stability, making its movement more flexible and energy consumption lower. For example, using PEEK material for the skeleton of humanoid robots can significantly reduce weight
-Joint parts: Its excellent wear resistance and self-lubricating properties can reduce the friction coefficient during joint movement, reduce wear and energy loss, extend joint service life, improve robot motion accuracy and reliability, and ensure long-term stable operation of the robot
-Bearings and gears: PEEK can be used to manufacture bearings and gears for robots, which can maintain good mechanical performance even under high loads and frequent movements, reduce noise and vibration, and improve the efficiency and performance of robots
Electronic industry
-Electronic components: PEEK has good electrical insulation performance, high temperature resistance, and dimensional stability, and can be used to manufacture various electronic components such as capacitors, resistors, inductors, etc. It can ensure stable operation of electronic components in harsh environments such as high temperature and high voltage, and improve the reliability and performance of electronic products
-Connector: Its excellent mechanical performance and chemical corrosion resistance make the manufactured connector have high strength, high reliability, and good plug and unplug resistance, which can meet the connection needs of electronic products in different environments, ensuring the stability and reliability of signal transmission
-Circuit board: PEEK material can be used to manufacture printed circuit boards. Its high temperature resistance and chemical corrosion resistance can adapt to various process and environmental requirements during the manufacturing and use of circuit boards, improving the quality and service life of circuit boards
-Semiconductor Manufacturing: In the semiconductor field, PEEK can be used to manufacture 300mm chip carriers, CMP retaining rings, wafer suction cups, insulation films, etc. Due to its excellent electrical insulation performance, processing and chemical properties, as well as high temperature corrosion resistance, it can meet the requirements of high precision, high cleanliness, and high reliability in the semiconductor manufacturing process
-In consumer electronics products such as headphones, mobile phones, tablets, etc., PEEK film has good elasticity, toughness, and stability, which can make sound propagation clearer and more stable, and improve sound quality
